Max&Mel is a Grandfather/Granddaughter collaboration. Max turns all of the wood by hand and Mel crafts it into wearable pieces. All timber is gathered from either the forest floor or recycled packaging. There is no laser cutting. Each piece is unique depending on the timber grain and any knots in the wood. Individual handmade pieces of hand-turned, sustainable, Queensland made jewellery.
We love Max & Mel jewellery!
  • Camphor Laurel is a noxious weed in Australia, taking over native vegetation and altering the ecosystem.
  • 20mm diameter hand-turned studs with stainless steel posts.
  • Lightweight brass accents.
Care Instructions: Please take care of your Max&Mel piece. We advise that you don’t wear it swimming or in the shower. Like any wood, it can become scratched if you scrape it on a hard surface.
